The staff were super friendly, helped me park and even sorted me out with electric adaptors for my phone! The brekkie was a lekker spread, seriously, so much fresh stuff to choose from. Plus, the views of the lake from my room? Just wow!

Room soundproofing leaves much to be desired. you can hear a lot of noise from the road and footsteps from above. Parking can be a bit tricky, and I ran into issues with charges that didn't match my actual parking situation. Smoky odors linger in some areas, making it feel less fresh than it could be, and some of the rooms are quite small, so don’t expect sprawling luxury.

Friendly staff made the stay more enjoyable, and the garden was a lovely spot for dinner, integrating the charming neighboring church seamlessly. the room soundproofing wasn’t great, leading to some disturbances from outside noise, and there were occasional issues with parking charges during my stay. While breakfast was sufficient, the dining area can feel cramped during peak hours.

The location is fantastic, just 50 metres from the pier on Lake Lucerne and a stone's throw from the cog railway station. The view of the lake is breathtaking, and the restaurant offers exquisite seasonal cuisine. Breakfast was a delightful spread, and the staff's helpfulness was beyond compare.

The kids loved the children's playground right next to the hotel. We also had a splendid breakfast with plenty of options, making our mornings enjoyable. The short walk to the mountain train station was a highlight, and the views from Rigi were breathtaking.

It was just an optimal selection for a short staycation in Vitznau with real value for money. The staff was very accommodating, even packing me a breakfast to take on an early morning hike, which was a pleasant surprise. Make sure to explore the local area. there's a lot to see around the lake.
